Simon D’Vali

Simon hails from many years on the pub circuit in West Yorkshire playing with several well established covers bands. The most notable being The Manhattan Project. For the last three years, he has been providing guitar duities for the melodic Neo Prog band This Winter Machine and was on the album Kites, their third release. The album was well received by the prog community.

Is he a Yorkshireman? Is he really?

Simon’s musical influences are varied (to say the least) including classical, rock, metal, blues, punk, pop, soul and anything that gets the hairs on the back of your neck standing.  His favourite acts include Genesis (what a shock), Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Marillion, Tool, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Johnson.

When Simon decided to join the band, problems became apparent. Firstly, we asked him for a couple of images for this page. He sent us many, many images. We are not used to this. Secondly, all his pictures clearly illustrate that he is better looking than the rest of the band and not only that, but a lot cooler in general.

We hope this explains why we decided to include a nice gallery of Simon and not everyone else in the band.
