Mama at The Maltings, FarnhamMama to perform their 2016 tour show at The Maltings, Farnham. Plus, a lineup change and some new video from our recent show in Solihull!

Howdo fellow Genesis fanatics! We’ve got a lot to get through today, so let’s get straight in there…. First up, our next show!

You can catch the band a little more South than usual on Saturday 12th November 2016 at The Maltings in Farnham. This show has been on sale for quite a while and tickets are now starting to move quicker, so if you’re coming down, get them in advance.

You can buy tickets for the show from The Maltings website.

James calls time on his Mama duties

It’s sad we know, but James has taken the decision to spend more time with his family and working in his new job, so he’s informed us that he would like us to find a new drummer for the band. We’d like to thank James for his incredible commitment to the band, right from the word go (actually, he committed before Mama was even written down on paper in fact). James will continue to perform with the band until his final show in 2017 at The Cavern. We hope many of you will be joining us at this historic venue to say goodbye and wish him well for the future.

Any drummers fancy the challenge?

So, if you are a drummer and you fancy a crack at holding the band together in 2017 and beyond, perhaps you should apply? Best thing to do is drop us a quick email through the Contact page on our website telling us a little bit about yourself and your drumming experience. It would be extremely beneficial to us if you also included some links to YouTube videos of you playing or SoundCloud type recordings we can access. We will check out every applicant for the role and organise auditions as soon as it’s practical (next month or so).

Lights. Camera. Music. Action!

Finally, we have three videos to share with you today. Those of you following us on Facebook may already know that we have been investing heavily in our show so that we can perform on ever bigger stages throughout the UK. Our recent show at The Core Theatre in Solihull was our chance to debut our new lighting. We’ve got a lot more programming to do to make our lights more Genesis themed and relevant to the songs we perform, but we thought it was worth sharing our progress so far.

First up, we have Duke’s Travels, followed by Mama and then Home By The Sea. We hope you enjoy the videos! Be sure to leave us a comment at the bottom of this post.  🙂
