It’s time for some more live videos people! But first, we need to tell you about our next two shows.
The first is on Saturday 15th November 2014 at The Met in Bury. This show has been on sale for a while now and already we’ve sold around two thirds of the tickets (actually, that figure is three days old). So, if you’d like to see Mama perform one last time in the North West before we head to Yorkshire for our final show of the year, this is the one to go to. Buy your tickets on The Met website now.
Last show of 2014
We haven’t much covered Yorkshire in the past, largely because it’s hard to find good venues when we are not familiar with the area. However, we think we’ve found one in The Trades, Rotherham. On Saturday 6th December 2014, we will be performing our final 2014 tour show at this venue and that’s it until late January, where we will likely have a different show or at least a hugely revised set list. Want tickets? Head over to The Trades website and purchase them.
Videos come in threes, it would appear?
Continuing our effort to release all the tracks from our recent Blackburn show on video, we’ve decided on tracks four, five and six. First up is Selling England, which leads into Carpet Crawl (so it’s actually two tracks I suppose):
No Son Of Ours
No Son Of Mine is next up. Again, recorded at Blackburn.
So it’s FIVE tracks really?
Well, I guess you could say we are actually releasing five tracks today. Bringing us to a close is our version of Many Too Many which leads right into Musical Box. These two tracks always go down very well, we presume because Many Too Many was never performed live by Genesis themselves and Musical Box is, well, it’s Musical Box init?
Let us send you emails from time to time
As you may know, the show that Mama puts on is quite expensive for us. We have to pay out for venue hire and all our advertising and promotion. Sometimes we also have to pay for hotels for the entire band and crew. A show like our recent road trip to Islington can often cost us way over £1,000.00 even before we’ve sold a single ticket (which is why we find it hard to cover far away places with shows).
We think our show is great quality for the price of the tickets but to make it work, we have to sell as many tickets as possible. This means we need to spread the word as far and as fast as possible, to all Genesis and live music fans. Our email newsletter is one of the only free methods we have for promoting our shows to our audience. The more people we can reach, the more will come to our shows. The more tickets we sell, the more likely it is that we can put the show into places we have not yet visited. You can sign up for our email newsletter below, simply by putting your first name and email address into the boxes, clicking Subscribe and then clicking the link in the confirmation email we send you:
