Mama, the UK’s all era Genesis tribute band performs Dodo / Lurker through the unblinking eye of the DrumCam.

First things first, we’d like to remind you that our next show is at Yardbirds Rock Club in Grimsby on Saturday 22nd February. Tickets are selling fast for this show so if you want one, get in touch with the box office and reserve one. You can contact the box office on 07771 520 374.

DrumCam Mania

This break between shows is giving us itchy fingers, so we thought we’d share a new video with you. At our last show, we had our GoPro Hero camera strapped to the back lighting truss on stage and we realised this makes a great little DrumCam. Not many people get to see what goes on behind the drum kit in this much detail, so we thought we’d share it with you.

Here’s James performing the whole of Dodo / Lurker at The Roundhouse, in Bolton:

You can also watch this video on YouTube if you prefer.

The Email Newsletter

We’ve been busy switching our current email newsletter systems over to MailChimp because this gives us a lot more functionality and helps us to protect your personal details even more, from the unsavoury people who would try and steal them. The switch to MailChimp was largely a manual exercise so there is every chance that we missed the occasional email address or got a name wrong. If you notice such things, it’s probably our fault. Sorry!

If you enjoyed our Dodo / Lurker DrumCam special above, then you can also watch another DrumCam video featuring James performing his Drum Solo followed by the whole of Los Endos, on our Exclusive Content page. The page is password protected (otherwise, it wouldn’t be exclusive would it?) but if you’re already subscribed to our email newsletter then you know the password. If you want the password, simply sign up using the form below and you will be watching our DrumCam again in moments!

The Hub – Video Shoot & Raising Money For Charity

Those of you who came to our big video shoot back in December at The Hub in Bacup will no doubt be dying to see the video coming together. Well, we’re still working on that along with the audio recording to go with it. The release of the DVD and Blu-ray Disc will probably be towards the middle of March. We’re trying to take our time with it to get the best possible product we can from our five cameras. You may also remember that we were collecting money for charity at the show so we are very happy to tell you that we raised a total of £208.53 for Mediquip 4 Kids, so give yourselves a round of applause. 🙂

That’s if for now. Put Grimsby in your diary and then leave us a comment below to let us know what you thought of the DrumCam video and any suggestions of where you’d like to see the camera positioned at the next show.
